2012 sees Janice in residence with the macrobert Arts Centre working in collaboration with individual people with dementia to develop new works in dance; in Romania devising collaborative work between disabled children and children and adults from the local village; going to Philadelphia with The National Theatre of Scotland to exchange creative practice on an intergenerational creative lab; and directing further performances of Private Dancer in Glasgow and in London. Private Dancer has been commissioned by the Unlimited programme, part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad
